Consumer Field Team Manager

Job Description

Are you well-versed in the complexities of both low and high voltage systems, including proficiency in current transformers metering? In this role, you will unleash your technical prowess by devising resourceful solutions for installation and rework requests, playing a key part in task prioritisation and allocation among the team. You’ll serve as the go-to expert for field engineers, operatives, and inquiries from customers and contracts. Drawing upon your wealth of experience, you will provide robust leadership and coaching, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage a team remotely.

Extensive travel throughout the UK is required so having a clean UK Driving License is imperative.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Proficient in generating site-specific and detailed site Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMs)
• Well-versed in Health and Safety concerns and their implications
• Knowledgeable about the issuance of permits to work, accident and incident reporting, and environmental responsibilities related to waste management
• Familiar with industry codes of practices, policies, and procedures, with the ability to effectively communicate them to staff
• Understanding of sub-metering setups and adept at identifying them in the field
• Strong industry connections facilitating talent acquisition and staying abreast of industry changes
• Skilled in scheduling work and achieving challenging productivity targets
• Holds a City & Guilds 236/2330 qualification or an equivalent credential
