Are you an Electrical Transmission Sales Manager /Account Manager or Project Manager looking for a new role in the Protection and Control Environment?  Do you have experience in Electrical Engineering or working in a Substation or Energy site environment and want to make a positive impact?

Our client, a leading global manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager or Account or Project Manager to be responsible for driving sales by winning projects from clients, managing them through the bid and tender process through to completion.

You will need to be able demonstrate an understanding of Secondary Protection & Control Project Delivery, have exemplary customer service and adaptable interpersonal skills to influence people and growth mindset to learn and to understand how to meet the challenges of customers.   A Degree/ HND in Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.

This is a permanent hybrid role, working from their offices in Hebburn, ideally going into the office 1 day a week.  They work a flexible 37 hour week and offering a competitive salary and company performance bonus plus company car.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with EPC Electrical contractors in the UK&I region, overseeing the opportunity pipeline and tracking Enquiry/Purchase Orders to achieve annual growth targets.
• Execute all necessary pre-qualification activities.
• Liaise with bid teams to address ongoing customer needs and provide any additional support such as reviewing submission documentation
• Provide insights to determine pricing levels, drawing from historical data and market insights.
• Identify key prospects and develop strategies for opportunities which may include presenting risks and opportunities to senior management to gain business support.
• Maintain the CRM for contacts, prospects, forecasts and targets.
