Are you a Graduate with a Technical Design Degree with experience using AutoCAD?

Our client, a very well established family run business are offering a full time hybrid role to be based a few days per week in their modern open plan office in Christchurch. They are looking for a Junior CAD Designer with a technical degree who is keen to hit the ground running to start their career within the design and build industry.

The role is to assist in creating technical drawing packages for projects across the UK (there will be a small amount of travel to sites) using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating technical drawing packages using AutoCAD
• Carry out building surveys using laser measure (all measuring equipment will be supplied
• Communicate with Clients & Sub-Contractors by phone & electronically via email
• Ensure the drawing issue sheet is up to date with the correct revisions
• Work closely with the internal Design, Projects & Finance Teams
• Some travel across the UK to sites for projects

Requirements:

• Experience using AutoCAD
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel
• Technical design/drawing based education or work placement experience
