Are you an experienced Logistics Coordinator who can manage import and export shipments by land, sea and air?
Our client based in New Milton are recruiting for a Logistics coordinator to oversee the shipment of customer orders from initial quotation through to final delivery and be the main point of contact for customers. You will be based on site 5 days per week Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for ensuring all import and export documentation is processed accurately in a timely manner with attention to detail, in accordance with the legal requirements of the country it goods are destined for as well as compliance with HM Custom’s. You will liaise with internal stakeholders such as Sales Administration teams and the Warehouse and Despatch teams to ensure everything is in order.
You will need to have experience of processing EUR1 forms and export licences, reconciling C79 forms and maintaining supporting documentation and have processed proof of exports (SAD 88). You will book collections using carrier web portals, deal with insurance claims, manage delivery times and costs and generate reports with KPI’s.
The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, have knowledge of legal logistical requirements, used to resolving a large amount of inquiries per day from different countries, be happy to be hand on with processing administration and have some team management experience, as there may be the possibility of managing a team in the future.
