Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Cardiff.

This position is a hybrid role, working 2 days in the office and the rest from home.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver diverse mechanical services and projects in the UK and internationally across a variety of sectors and mixed-use developments
• Provide high-quality service and develop business opportunities.
• Grow and develop a team of skilled engineers, mentoring junior staff to enhance their skills
• Design mechanical systems using the latest software
• Develop initial strategic plans ensuring compliance with briefs and regulations
• Monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivery with the team leaders
• Innovate and research to maintain a competitive edge.
• Maintain a strong local industry reputation

 Key Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Experience in a multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Team-based work approach
• Experience managing a range of projects
