Mechanical Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector who has worked within a Precision Manufacturing Environment? Do you have a mechanical mindset with excellent attention to detail for mechanical assemblies? If you’re experienced with RCA, can interpret detailed engineering drawings and use a wide range of measuring equipment, then this is the opportunity to join a large global business based mainly out of the Poole site.

Responsibilities:

• Use 3D scanning technology to inspect machined, fabricated and assembled parts
• Partake and assist with RCA and FAIR’s
• Inspection of variety of mechanical assemblies & piece parts
• Report non-conformities & inspection status

Requirements:

• Experience use micrometers, digital calipers, thread & bore gauges
• Knowledge of Microsoft software packages
• Precision manufacturing experience
• Able to interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Flexible, self-motivated, can work under pressure, professional team player
