Product Developer – Maternity Cover

Job Description

We have an exceptional opportunity for a talented Product Developer to join an award winning and sought after brand. This is a fixed term contract opportunity to cover 12 month maternity cover.

The role will be

• Developing successful new & existing foods to meet the concept brief in the local market without compromising on taste, appearance, texture.
• Supporting / challenging internal and external suppliers to deliver the best new foods possible whilst adhering to specific food requirements, Food and Nutrition Policy for local markets.
• Create marketing strategy to always ensure a food meets their requirements and fits the brands needs

The successful candidate will need

• Experience developing successful new and existing foods from concept to launch through stage gate process
• Great knowledge of recipe development, food production and processing
• Experience working in cross functional teams
• Project management experience
• Higher education (university or college degree) in Food technology, Nutrition, Food Science
  BSc Food Science/ Food Development or equivalent
