Job Description

Are you a part qualified CIMA / ACCA Accountant looking for a superb opportunity to join a company ranked as one of the best places to work in the UK offering progression and superb benefits?

 

Can you take responsibility for the delivery of effective project accounting for 2 – 3 major projects working alongside Project Managers and Regional Management teams?

 

If you have Accounting experience and skills to manage all aspects of these highly technical and valuable projects then this one off opportunity is for you. It is initially an 18 month contract but has the possibility of becoming permanent in the future and does offer study support for ACCA qualifications and a bonus based on company performance.

 

You must have excellent accounting skills with ability to demonstrate understanding and interpretation of key financial statements, along with superb analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Experience from a rail or infrastructure background would be beneficial and you will need to be proficient using SAP and Excel.

 

Based in York there will be the requirement for you to travel to other sites for quarterly meetings (costs will be covered/reimbursed).  The role offers flexible working with at least 2 days in the office.
