Gardener – Team Leader – Filled

Job Description

Are you a motivated and hardworking Gardener with 2 – 3 years’ experience working as part of a team and able to offer an outstanding quality service to your customers from, a residential or commercial background? 

Our client is one of the most well-respected grounds maintenance and gardening teams in the local area and are recognised nationally for their expertise in dealing with highly specialist areas. They cover Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire delivering a service to residential and commercial customers. 

As Gardening Team Leader you will be part of a team of 2 and will be responsible for managing/supporting an apprentice, whilst delivering ground maintenance and gardening services. You must have experience using tools such as hedge trimmers, lawn mowers and leaf blowers etc.

We are looking for someone to fit into this friendly, fun, close knit team, who is not afraid to go the extra mile. The ideal candidate will live in the Bournemouth area and will be required to have some plant knowledge, be very personable and polite, well presented and able to confidently liaise with the customer to discuss their requirements and give them advice on their plants and garden. You must also have a clean driving license.

Salary: £17,000 – £19,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm, 30 minutes for lunch

Holiday entitlement: 28 including bank holidays
