Are you an experience Field Engineer with knowledge of both Telecoms and IT support? Are you looking for a new role that will offer autonomy and the independence to manage your own end to end projects?
The company is a growing SME and the role is based from the office in Wimborne this role will involve 3rd line office support and field work installing equipment, surveying, managing and implementing solutions for Office 365, hosted phone systems, managed IT support/security, routers/firewalls, workstation and printer deployments and network solutions. There will be an initial focus on the telecoms side of the business.
The job role also includes a level of solution design and recommendation, sometimes being involved during the sales process or sometimes at planning stages of a project
You will need great communication skills with the customers both over the phone and face to face in the field and be personable with a positive attitude.
The skills required for the role include Mitel, Mitel App Suite, Knowledge and experience of SIP, configuring routers and switches, installing IT hardware and also working with a CRM system.
You will need to have a UK driving license and ideally Microsoft 365 and server 2012/2016 certification or experience.
Desirable experience that would be an advantage includes Gamma Horizon ,BT Centrex Draytek Routers, Fortigate Mitel MiVoice Business certification/experience.
