Job Description

A successful British luxury specialist in the design, development and manufacture of high-quality furnishing products is looking for an experienced Account /Project Manager for the FF&E development of the business.

As one of the leading suppliers to the interior designer and specifiers market, our clients products have earned a reputation of being extremely well made and beautifully designed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the newly created role of Hotel & Contracts Account Manager to join an expanding team with 2/3 days in the Southwest London Head office and 2/3 days working from home.

This is a new role and will be pivotal in the success and growth of the hotel and contracts business both in the UK and to the Export territories of Europe and the Middle East.

The successful candidate will need to offer proven experience in exceptional customer service, keeping abreast of the industry and upcoming projects and by making close contacts with clients existing and potential. You will need a minimum of 5 years in high end customer service and good knowledge of the design industry with a keen eye to learn. A second language would be an advantage.

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be accountable for the success your portfolio and play a key part in the overall success of the H&C team
  • You will be able to step up and take responsibility when the Sales Director is absent
  • You will be expected to keep abreast of the budget and targets
  • To manage your portfolio of clients, keeping abreast of their projects
  • To offer an exceptional service to all clients, either on the phone, via email always looking to ‘upsell’
  • Visit customers where possible to discuss projects
  • Raise Quotes, Pro-Formas and Orders for customers and managing these through production/despatch and ensure orders are delivered on required dates wherever possible
  • Keep clear records of all Quotes/Projects on Quotation Table. Following up regularly.
  • Make it your business to find out links between Specifiers, Procurement Companies and Hotels around the world and inform Head of Sales and rest of H&C Team
  • Managing Portfolio of own clients, and ensure that you know who they are, their style/requirements and that they know you are their point of contact
  • Read industry press to ensure you know what your clients are up to and to look into leads for new projects/new Designers. Share findings with Head of Sales and rest of H&C Team.
  • Manage the Middle East territory, pushing projects through, giving great customer service to Agents and clients, keeping abreast of projects and parties involved. Keeping clear records of commissions and ensuring they are paid monthly
  • Manage all Export Hotels projects across the company, keeping abreast of activity in Agent territories and in close communication with the Export Team.
