Job Description

An award winning venue offering high quality meeting spaces, accommodation, world leading sports performance and leisure facilities is recruiting for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to join their growing and friendly team.

You’ll be driving new business growth, nurturing existing accounts and negotiating profitable sales within the association and membership market offering venue spaces for conferencing, meetings and expos.

You’ll also be preparing sales presentations and conducting offsite, onsite and online meetings, attending exhibitions and customer facing events, report on new business development, account growth and sales conversion against agreed targets/KPIs.

What do you need to qualify for this role?

  • Experience in a similar sales role within hotels, conferencing and events industry
  • Excellent relationship building and customer service skills
  • Solid commercial awareness and desire to deliver results
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
  • Excellent persuasion, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to propose solutions by focusing on client requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and achieve sales quotas
  • Sound knowledge and experience of CRM systems
