Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Chef to join one of the UKs leading Training, Conference, and event centres in West Sussex. We are looking for a minimum of 1 years’ experience either as a Commis Chef stepping up or an existing Chef de Partie CDP to develop their career further.

Set in splendid grounds you will need to drive but we offer free parking and access to our leisure facilities. Although we are a training and conference centre, we offer a very personal touch and this role will be preparing only freshly prepared dishes presented and served to a high standard.

This excellent Venue is independent so not constrained by brand, contract, or cooking style. The menus range from fine dining to exquisite buffets, relaxed lunches, interesting breakfasts, outdoor BBQs, and private events. We operate mainly Monday to Friday but there will be some weekend shifts due to events and weddings.

Business has boomed recently so they now need to increase the brigade and seek a competent well-trained Chef who would like to continue their learning and development in a very positive yet varied environment.

The ideal candidate must be open minded, flexible, and versatile but most of all have a passion for cooking real food that looks and tastes great. They are a forward-thinking fair-minded employer who puts the welfare of the employee at the heart of everything they do.

You will need a minimum of 1 years Chef experience in a similar cooking environment with energy, positivity, and enthusiasm and your own transport – there is no public transport to the site although they are only 3 miles from Horsham, and the M23, 5 miles from Crawley and half hours drive from Brighton
