We have an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and experienced hospitality Events Sales Executive to support the conference centre team promoting the venue to existing and potential clients.
The role has a variety of tasks and situations in a busy environment so you will need to have exemplary customer care skills and the ability to work under pressure.
You will be responsible for Proactive and Reactive Sales, developing an account management plan and arranging and conducting appointments with new prospects and to organise and conduct show rounds / lunch & learn sessions with key agents. You will also be required to represent the venue at key exhibitions and participate in annual showcases.
You will also be responsible for Brand management, marketing the venue on commercial networks and assisting with the newsletter content and creation campaigns.
You will need to have great writing and strong administration skills to be able to provide accurate forecasting and billing, compile a monthly KPI reporting and to ensure all contracts are issued with events and pre-payment is confirmed.
What do you need to qualify for this role?
- Have a strong proven sales background in the MICE/Hospitality sector and able to build strong rapport with guests and colleagues
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Competent user in using Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Can manage a number of tasks simultaneously and maintain excellent attention to detail
- Be proactive, use own initiative whilst remining calm under pressure
