Job Description

Our client, a modern hospitality brand redefining short-stay accommodation, is looking an experienced Sales or Business Development Manager to drive B2B growth for multiple sites in Munich, with a strong focus on the local corporate Munich market.

This forward-thinking brand is focussed on sustainability and carbon neutral solutions as well as sourcing as much as possible in the local area.

You will be based from home but be in Munich meeting clients and showing the properties to prospects numerous times a week.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow their presence in the corporate accommodation space by identifying new opportunities, cultivating lasting client relationships and converting prospects into long-term partners.

You will need to have 2 years minimum selling into the corporate bedroom market in Munich with direct clients and SME’s as well as the TMC companies and Travel Managers alongside knowledge and understanding of the RFP process.

Fluency in both German and English is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target and secure new corporate accounts within the local business community
  • Strategically manage and grow a portfolio of clients through a consultative sales approach
  • Promote direct booking programmes tailored to SMEs
  • Report on sales activity and pipeline progress to key internal stakeholders
  • Attend industry events, trade shows and networking events to generate new leads
  • Host client visits and showcase accommodation solutions to suit client needs
  • Create tailored proposals highlighting key differentiators
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support data-driven sales strategies
  • Build and maintain comprehensive Account Development Plans
  • Ensure accurate CRM records and account tracking
  • Expand regional market presence and revenue through sector diversification
  • Strengthen client loyalty through excellent relationship management
  • Continuously develop the sales pipeline to exceed targets

 What They’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ proven success in B2B sales or business development, ideally within corporate travel, hospitality or serviced accommodation
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential
  • Strong network of decision-makers within the German corporate sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability in tailoring your approach to suit different audiences
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and consistently hit sales targets
  • A strategic thinker who knows how to prioritise and maximise opportunities
  • Results-oriented and able to turn cold leads into loyal clients
  • Experienced in managing and growing accounts through a strategic, long-term approach
