It’s been nearly a year since I turned 30 and over the last year, I have grown the most as a person and I’m looking forward to explore more of my 30s! Here are 5 things I’ve learnt so far…
It’s ok to say no. And it’s also ok if saying “no” disappoints someone
I was always afraid to say “no” as I didn’t want to upset or disappoint people. Saying no helps you establish healthy boundaries and enables others to have clarity about what they can expect from you.
It’s ok to grow, evolve & change
Its human nature to grow, change and evolve as we grow older. Experiences, situations and people change us. If you leave some people behind that’s ok too.
Value your time & your worth
Your time and worth is precious, don’t waste it. Focus on the big picture, plan how you want to spend your days and let others know that your time is valuable.
Don’t let others opinions of you diminish you
Some people won’t like you and some people won’t like your choices. You don’t have to let their opinions affect how you feel about yourself.
Don’t be so hard on yourself
Haven’t ticked off all your goals before turning 30? That’s absolutely fine!
