Assembly Line Planner

Job Description

Are you an experience quality driven Assembly Line Planner ideally with a background in engineering and manufacturing? Do you have experience planning work order sequences across multiple assembly stages?

Our client, a leading manufacturing company has a permanent opportunity for an Assembly Line Planner to be responsible for overseeing the daily management of work order planning and execution across various assembly sections to ensuring timely availability of materials and the successful completion of orders.

Reporting directly to the Assembly Planning Manager, you will be the vital link connecting site planning with production team leaders and contribute to the business objectives by enhancing on-time delivery and customer service.

You will need:

• Knowledge of standard supply chain systems such as MRP, SIOP, VMI or Kanban
• Experience in one of the following: Supply chain management, production control, material planning or operations scheduling
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide innovative solutions to problems
• Excellent communication and good computer skills in Microsoft Excel and ERP system
