This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced business development professional to join a global market leading manufacturing company operating in the healthcare industry. Based in the South region, working closely with the sales teams and reporting directly to the Sales Director. Focus on sales, the category specialist will help shape and execute the company strategy for growing the range of consumable products category.
This is a specialist business development role and you will be comfortable presenting and solution finding with customers, as well as working closely driving the sales teams to a collective end goal of strategic business growth.
Ideally you will have a good understanding or experience of selling consumables, within the healthcare sector (hospitals and care homes), early years / childcare etc.
Responsible for a cradle to grave approach with products, key attributes and responsibilities will include driving market research, customer insight, supplier networking, product research, pricing and marketing strategies and aggressive sales growth through the sales team.
