Job Description

Our client is a global market leader looking for an experienced Hire Contracts and Installation Manager to lead their depot team and manage pipework installation projects. This is a great opportunity to advance your career in a role that combines team leadership with hands-on project management.

As the Hire Contracts Manager, you will be central to the company’s service delivery, managing a depot-based team overseeing workshop operations and planning projects.  You’ll visit customer sites to manage the installation of pipework, ensuring every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and mentor a team of welders, installers, and an apprentice.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the depot workshop.
• Plan and execute pipework installation projects from start to finish.
• Prepare project drawings and manage subcontractors for quotations.
• Provide exceptional technical support and service to all customers.
• Ensure all work complies with the highest quality and safety standards.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients.

Who they’re looking for:

• Proven experience leading a field service or fabrication team.
• A strong background in pipework installation, welding, or fabrication.
• Experience in a service technician or field-based engineering role.
• Ability to plan, manage, and execute technical projects effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and diagnostic software.
• A full UK Driver’s Licence.
