Job Description
Are you a Purchasing Assistant ideally from a retail and or manufacturing background and do you have experience with creating and managing SKU numbers?
We are recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join a suburb high quality interior design business based in Winchester.
You will be working as part of the purchasing and supply chain team and report to the Purchasing Manager to assist with product data, purchase order, and supplier production management.
You will create new SKU’s and maintain and update the master product list, process purchase orders and send to suppliers, chase production schedules to ensure delivery dates are correct to meet tight deadlines and liaise with suppliers over the phone and via email to keep track of their production schedules.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years Buying/Purchasing Administration experience and have processed orders on an ERP system with strong communication skills and be highly organised with attention to detail.
You will need to be personable and confident and able to communicate effectively at all levels across the business and have exceptional IT skills including Excel.
