Job Description

Are you a Purchasing Manager with an SME Manufacturing background? Do you have an interest or experience in interior design?

We are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join our clients purchasing and supply chain team to support a suburb high quality interior design business based in Winchester.

You will be working as part of the purchasing team in a hands-on role to manage the reordering and timely supply of goods and materials from existing suppliers across the globe, as well as overseeing the Purchasing Assistant and their work.

You will be responsible for managing a large product range with long lead-times and liaise with a very demanding sales team and client base, therefore there will be a very changeable sales patterns with lots of challenges to overcome.

The successful applicant must have proven experience of international purchasing and general supply chain management, an understanding of the basic principles of the manufacturing process would be beneficial.

You will need to be personable and confident and able to communicate effectively at all levels across the business and have exceptional IT skills including intermediate Excel with VLOOKUPS.
