Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer? Looking for the next step in your Career? Or looking for a new challenge? As a Senior Mechanical design engineer, you will need to be diverse in your capabilities from establishing technical & regulatory requirement, through design and specification, and ultimately test and verification. You will work closely with Project Management, Sales, Service, Quality, Purchasing and Production teams to ensure a compliant product is realised in a timely manner. This environment demands that all the products are designed and manufactured respecting rigorous adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements.

• Experienced CAD (Inventor, Solidworks, etc.) and assembly user with experience of product and system designs incorporating rotating assemblies, fluid handling, electro-mechanical components, electronic control systems, sheet metal design, injection moulding and casting.
• Must be confident in the generation of manufacturing and inspection drawings to BS8888. Understanding of the need and application of GD&T, and appropriate use of tolerances to minimise part costs whilst maintaining functional compliance.
• Generation of an accurate CAD BoM and support and maintenance of the company MRP BoM (Navision)

• Good practical mechanical aptitude, fault finding, root cause assessment
