What a roller-coaster Recruitment turned out to be… I LOVE IT!!!!

My career started in Customer Services where I managed a number of teams with up to 14 members of Customer Service Advisors. This has meant my main driver and core values are honesty and delivering on my promises.

After relocating to Bournemouth from Newbury 6 years ago, I started working in the fascinating world of permanent commercial recruitment! I quickly ripped off the plaster and began building strong relationships with clients and candidates. Due to the speed at which I work, the opportunity then arose to take over the commercial temporary operation which meant I was placing not only permanent but also temporary staff as well.

3 years on and a lot of sleepless nights later, I had worked hard to build up an extremely successful hybrid desk, placing perm, temp to perm and contract candidates.

I enjoy working in partnership with companies offering a strong understanding of their business needs and outcomes, and a structured approach to allow them to achieve their targets, increase sales and generate an increase in revenue.

One of my main reasons for loving recruitment is meeting people and helping candidates find their dream job. There is nothing better than putting an offer to a candidate and hearing their scream of success.

After reaching the pinnacle of my career in recruitment I felt I was ready for my next step… to work for myself! I am now focusing on growing my very own recruitment business with my partner in crime Karen Brodie. We are so excited for what the future holds.
